Exchange Policy
Our easy 7 day exchange policy is our way of thanking our Shayonam Jewels customers. If you want to exchange your purchase for any reason, please contact us.
Diamond And Precious Gem Jewelry
- Diamond and precious gem jewelry purchased from us can be exchanged within 7 days from the invoice date against diamond and precious gem jewellery only without any loss in value.
- Only one such exchange will be permitted against an invoice.
- In case of exchange with diamond and precious gem jewellery after 7 days, a restocking fee may be applicable.
- When returning solitaire diamond jewelry it’s important to include the grading certificate that your diamond came with. If the certificate isn’t included in your return, we will have to send the diamond back to its original agency for recertification. Recertification charges may be applicable.
Gold Jewelry
- Gold Jewelry without diamonds or colored stones purchased from our store can be exchanged within 3 days from the invoice date without any loss in Gold Weight and Making Charge.
- This exchange is permitted, provided the jewelry is in its original condition. Only one such exchange will be permitted against an invoice.
- For exchange made after 3 days of the purchase, the stone weight (if any) and making charge of the item will be deducted and the actual value of gold as on that date will be provided as exchange value.
Once we receive the returned product, an exchange voucher will be issued to you valid for a period of 12 months, which can be used for in store or online purchase.
General Terms & Conditions
The following terms must be met if you wish to exchange any product:
- The products must be returned in new, resalable condition
- You must pay all return shipping expenses & insurance or deliver it to our offices or retail location.
- Any jewelry certificates that came with the product must be returned.
- The jewelry will be subject to a Quality Check (QC) by our QC department or by a certified laboratory as required. Shayonam Jewels reserves the right to calculate the exchange amount of the product depending on the final evaluation by our quality check team.
- Customized jewelry, bespoke jewelry, engraved, modified, resized or repaired jewelry , final sale and clearance items will not be covered under this exchange policy. Please contact us in case of such exchanges.
- All local taxes and duties (as applicable) at the point of exchange should be borne by the customer.
- Shayonam Jewels reserves the right to exercise discretion in permitting all returns and exchange.
RETURN POLICY
You may return merchandise purchased at Shayonam Jewels if it meets the guidelines below.
- Returns are ONLY applicable based on a quality check on the product in question. Our Quality Assurance department will review the returned item/s. Any items that show signs of wear or have been altered, resized (by a jeweler other than Shayonam Jewels), or damaged cannot be accepted for return.
- Return requests made AFTER 7 days from original purchase date will NOT be honored. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Final Sale and Clearance products are final and non-refundable or non-exchangeable. These items will not be accepted if returned, and no credit will be issued. All sales for these items are final.
- If you wish to cancel or changed your mind about Special Custom Order items, you will be charged a 35-50% restocking fee, as well as shipping charges & insurance fee.
- In case of a return, a credit will only be issued after we receive the merchandise in question. You will have to ship the item along with shipping insurance. Shayonam Jewels will not compensate for this shipment.Shayonam Jewels items can be returned in person to our offices or retail locations. All returns must be made through US postal service, FedEx, or UPS only. Securely pack the merchandise and remember to insure your package. Please keep the tracking number and relevant details, in the rare case that the package is lost or misplaced.
The following terms must be met if you wish to return any product:
- The return must be made within 7 days from original purchase date.
- The products must be returned in new, resalable condition
- The original tags must remain attached.
- You must pay all return shipping expenses & insurance.
- Display the RMA number prominently on the outside of the box.
- Any jewelry certificates that came with the product must be returned.
Upon receipt of the returned merchandise in good order in accordance with the above and within 7 days of purchase date, we will issue the appropriate credit, not including the shipping, insurance and restocking fee.
Please allow 7 business days for return shipping transit time, plus an additional 5 business days upon receipt for the return to be completed and the refund to be issued to your account.
All refunds will be processed in the original purchase method, unless noted otherwise. Please note, if you paid with bank wire, you will receive your refund by a company-issued check.
There is a return/exchange limit of 2 (returns or exchanges) per customer/household, per year.
